Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
Without compromise health, safety, the environment and quality is always in our focus and of the highest priority. This is a mandatory requirement for all personnel engaged for work or the provision of services by TASMAN POWER WA.
All personnel engaged by TASMAN POWER WA must:
1. Have passed a pre-employment Fitness for Work medical examination.
2. Achieve competency with the company’s induction before starting work and with the client’s induction process before starting working at the client’s workplace.
3. Only undertake work that they have been approved, by this company, as competent to do.
4. Before starting a job, ensure they fully understand the pre-start risk assessment controls.
5. Actively participate in the ongoing:
- Skills training and skills competency maintenance.
- Fitness for work programme inclusive of AOD, dust, noise and thermal stress monitoring.
- Hazard and incident management, inclusive of prevention & communication.
- Injury management and rehabilitation programmes as required.
